Where we're headed

The big things ahead, in roughly the order we plan to build them.

  1. Native mobile apps

    iOS and Android apps with push notifications when a charge clears or a friend settles up. The ledger should feel alive in your pocket, not buried in a browser tab.

  2. Pay balances directly in-app

    Skip the deep-link out to Venmo. Settle what you owe a friend in one tap, without leaving Splits — same ledger, fewer surfaces.

  3. Invest the dollars you forget about

    The money friends send you for splits tends to sit unused in a payment app for weeks. Opt-in to auto-invest those incoming payments — think Acorns, but for the cash you'd otherwise forget you had.

  4. Splits debit card

    Spend your Splits balance directly. Useful for splitting purchases at the moment they happen, instead of reconciling them after the fact.
